By Margot Vidal
There's a particular kind of confidence that comes from wearing something that was made with intention. For my AW26 collection, now available exclusively at Amy's Apparel, I wanted to design exactly that feeling — clothes that make you stand taller before you've even stepped out the door.
This season is for the woman who knows what she wants. And dresses accordingly.
Tailoring with a Point of View
The spine of AW26 is structure. Longline coats with clean, deliberate seams. Blazers that sit just so. Trousers with a drape that's feminine but never soft — always intentional. These are pieces built around the idea that a well-cut garment is the ultimate form of self-expression.
I drew inspiration from the architecture of mid-century European cities — the sharp angles, the restraint, the quiet drama of a facade that doesn't need to shout to be noticed. That's the energy I wanted to put into fabric.
Knitwear, But Make It Serious
Winter knitwear doesn't have to be lazy. This season I approached every sweater and ribbed set with the same rigour I'd give a tailored jacket. Weight, tension, silhouette — all considered. The result is knitwear that feels luxurious to wear and looks considered from across the room.
Layered under a coat or worn alone, these pieces hold their own.
Colour That Means Business
AW26 stays mostly in a palette of charcoal, deep burgundy, camel, and black — with one deliberate outlier: a rich cobalt that cuts through the season like punctuation. When you need to make a point, you reach for cobalt.
Everything else is built to mix, to layer, to live in across the weeks and months of a long winter.
This Is What Arrival Looks Like
I designed this collection for women who walk into rooms and don't need to announce themselves. The clothes do it quietly, and well.
Available now, exclusively at Amy's Apparel. Wear it like you've already decided.
